Turkish cuisine and wines have been introduced to Americans with the partnership of the Boston University Food and Wine Programme as part of the 17th Boston Turkish Culture and Art Festival.
The directoress of the Boston University Food and Wine Programme Rebecca Alssid expressed happiness over the attention shown in the programme promoting Turkish wines and culinary tastes and said this year's proÄŸramme received great acclaim and the participants had thanked her. The programme which hosted world-renowned chefs such as Julia Child and Jacques Pepin also featured the special menu prepared by reputed Turkish chef and author of the book " Sultan's Kitchen " Özcan Ozan, which consisted of of exclusive hors d'oeuvre, dishes and dessert served with select Turkish wines made of Anatolia's grapes.
The Turkish Cultural Foundation, the Turkish Culture and Tourism Ministry and Turkish Airlines are the main sponsors of the 17th Boston Turkish Culture and Art Festival.
