Ten Turkish films as well as two documentaries and eight short films will be shown during this year's festival.
The 12th New York Turkish Films Festival has begun.
During the opening of the festival organized by the American Turkish Society (ATS) and the "Moon and Stars Project" with the support of the Turkish Cultural Foundation, "10 to 11" by Pelin Esmer was screened at the School of Visual Art (SVA).
Ten Turkish films as well as two documentaries and eight short films will be shown during this year's festival.
The films include "10 To 11" by Pelin Esmer, "On the Way to School" by Orhan Eskikoy and Ozgur Dogan, "Vavien" by Yagmur and Drul Taylan, "Envy" by Zeki Demirkubuz, "Bornova Bornova" by Inan Temelkuran, "The Children of Diyarbakir" by Miraz Bezar, "Voice" by Umut Unal, "The Herd" by Yilmaz Guney, "Love in Another Language" by Ilksen Basarir, "Absurdistan" by Veit Helmer, "Cosmos" by Reha Erdem, and "Tulay German: Years of Fire and Cinders" by Didem Pekun.
